Rewatching this series, I noticed for the first time that “Evie” is a nickname, her full name is Evangeline. John calls her Evangeline when he calls her cell phone after she disappears in the first episode. Evangeline Lily’s character on LOST, Kate, was not who she first appeared to be. We later learn that she is on the run for killing her abusive father. What a great clue, right there in the character’s name. I’m surprised I didn’t catch it previously.

Best part about this reveal is that after you watch it the first time you realize it was actually pretty obvious and predictable. That makes it so much more impressive that the show still manages to blind side the viewer.

If ever there was a face that just a screamed "please blow me up with a drone strike," it's Evie's.

I was not caught off guard by this. Back in episode 1 of season 2 when the girls go away from the lake they stop the music in their car and drive silent for what appeared to be most of the trip, until Evie gets home to her parents. Already there this reveal was planted and if you look enough for details you would notice even more. The "never mind it's pointless" joke fits so well for example.

This must have been a good cliffhanger at the time but if you binge watch the series it's kinda turn off since the impact of them coming out of the van in the next episode would be waaaaaay bigger if this ended on him just opening the door

Since there is no a fifth season,I would like to write along with another fan the fifth. It would have new 25 episodes, and some characters who shouldn't have died would be back again. And those ones who should have died, would do it. I never liked, well, actually I hated Victoria have killed Aiden, so that's why I'd bring him back alive to the story. And to stay with Emily. (Cause I also didn't like that she has ended with Jack instead of Aiden) At first, Emily and Jack would be traveling in their honeymoon in Japan, when she'd see by far Aiden. She would think that she was crazy after running through Tokyo's streets, chasing what could be her former love. But Aiden would be really alive after Victoria's assassination attempt in the third season, and he decided to keep himself away and hidden by having seen Emily happy with Jack. But this wouldn't last too long, he would end featuring himself as Wesley (or whatever other fake identity) in order to be able to get closer Emily again. Sure this would unsettle Emily and Jack marriage, because even not knowing that Wesley is Aiden,she is divided again between them both. "Wesley" would say that he never knew Aiden, so supposedly they only look like too much each other. Emily costed a lot of to believe that Wesley is not Aiden, cause she is not fool, but he keeps pretending to be another guy, up until get to convince her that is not him. Emily searches for informations about Wesley everywhere, but of course she doesn't find. To be more convincing, Wesley feigns a bride, Lauren, and presents her to Emily. Lauren asserts that they are together a long ago, then if her bridegroom was Aiden, she'd know. So they go taking the farce along the season. There also would be another Victoria's fan even more crazier than Louise, and this fan would be really lunatic, completely fanatical about Victoria Grayson, to the point of ordering to a medical team to make a surgery to leave her physically identical to her idol Victoria. This way would be as if Victoria was back in the series through this crazy fan of her. However, that surgery would be a secret that only would be found out after many episodes. Until there, would be a great mess cause everybody thought she's Victoria alive again. A lie that this fan would go taking and scarying everyone,asserting that she would have go back from hell to take all her foes away. There would also have Daniel back in shape of a ghost, but he could only be seen by few characters. Lydia Davis and Mason Treadwell would be dead in a car crash, fixing a mistake of the series: They ended alive,while many others who should be alive, had dead. Preferably they would die together in the same car crash, while were being chased by someone that I still didn't decide who. They were running too fastly in a bridge, Lydia was driving crazily, trying to scape from the chasing. Mason was at her side,very scared and screaming to her decrease the speed of the car in order to they not to die. But suddenly she is struck by a flaming poisoned arrow, shot by Margot during the chase, causing the accident, in which the car plummets from the bridge into the deep, icy waters of a lake, where it disappears forever. This could already happen in the first episode of the season to prevent these boring characters that I hate would continue to piss off unnecessarily in the plot. Margot would also commit some more villanies and atrocities until the middle of the season, when she would finally be mysteriously murdered, and leave the story. Nolan would be working at a circus as clown, and Louise would have more sensual scenes (I always have been mad about that hot redhead 😆) She would be owner of new sex shops stores that she would have opened by the city, and keep with those nice necklines that used in the 4th season. But this time, her necklines would be more open each episode. Charlotte would have turned into a nun in a convent. She also turned a teacher of a class full of unbearable and impish children, or it means, is paying her sins. The action part of the series is that I still do not know how to write, so that's why I would like the help of another Revenge fan, so that we wrote together the fifth season.
